Gear 5 Luffy grows giant and grabs St. Saturn and Kizaru, vowing to not let them escape, while telling Sanji to run to the back of the island with Vegapunk. As the scientist dies, a computer in his lab activates, broadcasting his message to the entire world.

What is Episode 1143 about?
The next One Piece episode, titled ‘Vegapunk’s Secret Plan – A Tense Worldwide Broadcast’, will, unsurprisingly, deal with the scientist’s broadcast.
In the manga, he reveals what he found out about the Void Century, a blank period of history which the World Government has forbidden to look into.
The core of his broadcast is that the world is at risk, predicting a catastrophic man-made event that will raise sea levels and cause widespread sinking, echoing the great flood of the past.
It should come as no surprise that there are plenty of characters who don’t want the world to hear this message.
In the One Piece Episode 1143 trailer, a narrator says, “A mysterious broadcast by Vegapunk suddenly begins. While confusion and panic sweep over the world, there are some who try to cut the broadcast.
“When the untold truth of the world is revealed, St. Saturn’s ace in the hole poses a threat.”
