ActivisionOne of Warzone’s fan-favorite assault rifles is back to having the best Time to Kill (TTK) in the battle royale following the Season 5 Reloaded update.
Whenever a new Warzone update rolls around, Call of Duty fans are quick to try and find what change, if any, has affected their go-to loadout. A subtle recoil nerf might be enough to put them off, for example. However, some will just soldier on anyway.
Well, with the launch of Season 5 Reloaded, the battle royale’s meta was given another shake-up. The popular ABR A1 was nerfed pretty heavily, pushing it out of the meta picks, while the Kilo 141 was cemented as the go-to option.
While the Kilo is the most popular rifle and the easiest to use, it isn’t the fastest-killing choice. Instead, that accolade goes to the CR-56 Amax. And, it’s even better when paired with the underused Kompakt 92.
CR-56 Amax & Kompakt is Warzone’s fastest-killing loadout
Both guns were highlighted by Warzone guru WhosImmortal and CODMunity, with the former noting it has the “fastest TTK” of all rifles in fights over 45 metres.
“The Amax absolutely melts if you can control it. Its a little bit higher recoil than something like the Cypher or GPR, but higher risk, higher reward. Amax, if you’re looking purely for TTK is a top choice,” he said in his September 6 video.
There are, of course, multiple ways of building loadouts – especially if you’re someone who would rather run eight attachments.
However, WhosImmortal runs with five on the Amax. These are:
- Optic: Otero Red Dot
- Muzzle: Compensator
- Barrel: Reinforced barrel
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Magazine: Extended Mag II
As for the Kompakt, he again takes five attachments instead of eight. These are:
- Muzzle: Compensator
- Barrel: Long Barrel
- Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
- Magazine: Extended Mag II
- Fire Mod: Recoil Springs
“This combination feels fantastic if you’re looking for the fastest-killing options in the game right now,” he continued, adding that the Amax, especially, “absolutely melts” with that build.
As noted, the Kilo 141 is the go-to weapon of choice for most and is regularly paired with a sniper or Jackal. So, maybe give something else a whirl.
