ActivisionIf you’re looking to change up your Warzone loadout as we head towards the end of the Black Ops 6 era, there’s a slept-on rifle with an incredible TTK that’s perfect for long-range fights.
There are literally hundreds of weapons to choose from in Warzone, but most players tend to opt for the usual array of Assault Rifles. Ever since Black Ops 6 arrived, the likes of the GPR 91, Kilo 141, and Cypher 091 have dominated the battle royale.
However, there are plenty of powerful options that have flown under the radar, including weapons from previous games like MW3 and MW2.
One of these underrated gems is the Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle from MW2, which actually kills faster than virtually any other gun in the game.
Tempus Torrent is underrated gem in Warzone Season 5
Warzone expert WhosImmortal highlighted the rifle in a video breaking down the fastest-killing weapons on offer. He explained that the Tempus Torrent, which arrived during Season 2 of MW2, has an “absolutely nuts” TTK of just 625ms at 46 meters, which is around the prime range where many fights take place.
It’s even faster at slightly closer distances, but it’s this power at longer range that makes it even more deadly than many of the meta ARs that have become commonplace.
The biggest downside to running the Tempus Torrent is its semi-automatic fire rate. This makes it slightly more unforgiving if you miss your shots, and requires you to have a solid trigger finger to get the best out of it.
“You’ve got to really learn to spam this thing fast and stay on target,” WhosImmortal explained. “If you can do so, very few guns in the game will stand a chance of actually beating this.”

If you can master its tricky fire rate, then this is the ideal weapon to help you rack up the wins before Black Ops 7 arrives. The Season 5 Reloaded update will likely shake up the meta once again, but the Tempus Torrent is unlikely to be touched.
