Best CS2 crosshair codes used by pros

best csgo crosshairs

Using the right crosshair for you in Counter-Strike 2 is crucial. But, if you don’t know where to start, why not copy a pro? These are the best crosshair codes for CS2 used by the world’s top players.

With the perfect crosshair in Counter-Strike 2, you’ll feel more comfortable hitting headshots, lining up grenades, and controlling your spray.

By default, CS2 will give you a dynamic green crosshair. However, this is not very popular among seasoned players, as the crosshair’s movement can be distracting. Instead, the more common choice is a static crosshair, that stays perfectly still when you fire or move.

There are countless options for your crosshair, and you could spend hours tweaking it. To save time, these are the best CS2 crosshairs pro players use, including AWPers and riflers, which you can try by copying their crosshair codes.

Note: Use the ‘Filter Player’ and ‘Filter Team’ functions to quickly find who you’re looking for, and click their name to see an in-game preview of the crosshair.

Pro players often change their crosshairs regularly, but we’ll keep this list as updated as possible with new crosshairs as they change. Also, remember that crosshairs will look bigger or smaller depending on what res you play on (16:9/16:10/4:3).

We’ve updated and tested these codes based on the latest available settings from the pro players. These codes are based on what they used in their last match on record. Following the latest major tournament, The BLAST Austin Major, we have updated crosshair codes based on what players are using now, in August 2025.

This will then change your crosshair to the exact settings used by the professional player. You may also want to check their res though, as most pros play on a 4:3 stretched res, which will make the crosshair larger than on default, 16:9 res.

If you want to keep a record of your own code, simply click ‘copy my code’ before importing a new one, and then save this somewhere. That way, you can always revert to your previous crosshair easily.

How to copy crosshairs in CS2

  1. Press tab to open up the match scoreboard
  2. Click on the player’s name that you want to copy from
  3. Select “Copy Crosshair”
  4. Select “Yes” to replace your current crosshair

Remember, it’s a good idea to take note of your preferred crosshair codes before so you can easily revert if you want it back.

Crosshair tips: How to get the perfect crosshair

Even if you don’t use one of the crosshairs listed above, there are a few tips that you should keep in mind when creating ther perfect crosshair for you in CS2.

Static vs Dynamic: We strongly recommend using a static crosshair, which will prevent it moving when you are walking or sprinting. If you are brand new to CS, it may be helpful to use dynamic – to remind you about movement innaccuracy. But, once you have the hang of it, a static crosshair will typically be much easier to control recoil, when spraying.

Follow recoil: Speaking of recoil, CS2 has a new “follow recoil” setting, which will track where the next bullet in a spray will land. Although some players have dabbled with it, it’s very rarely used among top players, which indicates it’s probably not optimal, unless you are really trying to master spray control.

Size and color: When it comes to the size and color of your crosshair, of course this is personal preference. However, cyan is the most popular color, as it stands out against almost all backgrounds. Green and Yellow are also popular choices. Red and dark blue is less common, as it can be less visible in dark areas of maps.

For the size, remember that the resolution and aspect ration you play on will impact how large the crosshair appears on your screen, so if you copy a pro player’s code, it will appear differently if your display settings are different.
