Looking for a new workhorse primary weapon that shines in PvE and PvP? Look no further than Everburning Glitz, Destiny 2‘s newest Kinetic Auto Rifle.
In what’s become something of a recurring theme for weapons that perform well in all areas of the sandbox, Everburning Glitz is obtained exclusively from Trials of Osiris. That means you’ll need to brave the looter shooter’s pinnacle PvP activity to farm this beast, but it’s worth it.
Kinetic primaries are an infrequent sight these days, with Bungie seemingly preferring instead to add Strand or Stasis-element weapons to fill the slot. Fortunately, this latest addition to the pool of Kinetic armaments comes packed with best-in-slot perks for all your needs.

Historically, any rapid-fire weapon that can roll Kinetic Tremors is worth considering. Everburning Glitz has a huge magazine by default and belongs to that very archetype, making it the perfect weapon to take advantage of the perk’s AoE capabilities.
For the second perk slot, Subsistence is relevant due to its ability to bypass reload downtime, but you shouldn’t sleep on Bewildering Burst. A new Kinetic-exclusive perk, this trait loads Glitz with a disorienting Kinetic round after a kill, providing utility alongside add-clear when paired with Tremors.
To round out the roll, prioritize Arrowhead Brake for its massive buff to recoil reduction and some bonus handling.
For PvP, all the usual suspects are present and accounted for. Dynamic Sway Reduction or Lone Wolf are your best bets for the first column, although the former’s buff to accuracy and stability provided superior consistency in my own testing.

The second column is down to personal preference; Tap the Trigger and Zen Moment both increase accuracy under different conditions. As always, every remaining perk should be used to bump Glitz’s range as high as possible.
