Destiny 2’s seasonal challenges are back, offering plenty of rewards to help level your season pass, so here’s how to earn plenty of Bright Dust and XP in Destiny 2’s Season of Plunder Seasonal Challenges. 

Destiny 2‘s Season of Plunder is here, and that means there’s a new Season Pass and Seasonal Artifact to level up. Thankfully, the game’s weekly seasonal challenges are a great way to power through the levels.

These arrive in batches each week, and award XP, the occasional weapon, and Bright Dust — a free-to-earn currency that lets players buy the game’s premium items in a rotating section of the store.

Destiny 2 seasonal challenges for Season of Plunder

Throughout the season, players can expect ten weeks of Destiny 2 seasonal challenges. Some are simple, like completing a series of Strikes or Crucible matches, while others ramp up to completing the Nightfall on Grandmaster difficulty or winning matches in Trials of Osiris.

Expect things to be fairly simple, to begin with at least, before adding much tougher challenges in the weeks to come.

Destiny 2 Season of Plunder Challenges week 1

Here are the Destiny 2 seasonal challenges for week 1.

Challenge	Requirements
Successful Expedition	Obtain Plundered Umbral Energy from bonus chests in Expedition.
Antiquarian	Return the first relic to the H.E.L.M. Also, defeat combatants on Europa. Defeating combatants with a Fusion Rifle will award bonus progress.
Fire Discipline	Complete Ketchcrash activities and activate cannons aboard the deck of your Ketch.
Shaper I	Shape three unique Seasonal weapons.
Europa Activities	On Europa, earn progress by completing bounties, patrols, public events, and Lost Sectors.
Taking All Challenges	Complete weekly playlist challenges.
Long-Range Calibration	Calibrate long-range weapons — Pulse Rifles, Bows, Trace Rifles — on Europa. Bonus progress in Lost Sectors.
Dredgin’ Up Victory	Complete Gambit matches. Earn bonus progress for wins.
Flourish of Power	Defeat Guardians in the Mayhem playlist with Super abilities.
The Fallen Fall	Defeat Fallen combatants in Vanguard playlists or strikes. Earn bonus progress for defeating tougher combatants.

Destiny 2’s seasonal challenges for week 2 can be found below.

Successful Expedition	Return the second relic to the H.E.L.M. Also, defeat Fallen. Defeating them with precision final blows will award bonus progress.
Expert Expedition I	Complete Expeditions and gather treasure in the treasure haul.
Seeker’s Cache	Complete bounties from the Star Chart or on Nessus, Cosmodrome, or Europa. Also, decipher the Small Treasure Beacon, available from the Star Chart in the H.E.L.M.
Fusillade	Defeat targets with Submachine Guns. Defeating combatants in Ketchcrash and defeating Guardians will award bonus progress.
Cosmodrome Activities	In the Cosmodrome, earn progress by completing bounties, patrols, public events, and Lost Sectors.
Lost in the Legend	Complete a Lost Sector on Legend or higher.
Close-Range Calibration	Calibrate close-range weapons — Sidearms, Submachine Guns, Shotguns, Glaives and Swords — in the Cosmodrome. Bonus progress in Lost Sectors.
Bank, Kill, Repeat	Earn points by banking Motes, defeating Blockers, and defeating Guardians in Gambit.
Arc of History	Defeat Guardians with Arc damage. Bonus progress is granted for defeating blinded opponents.
Anti-Cabal Sweep	Defeat Cabal combatants in Vanguard playlists or strikes. Earn bonus progress for defeating tougher combatants.

Week 3’s seasonal challenges for Destiny 2’s Season of Plunder can be found below.

Antiquarian III	Return the third relic to the H.E.L.M. Also, defeat Cabal. Defeating them with finishers will award bonus progress.
Sextant Navigation I	Collect Map Fragments and Treasure Coordinates during Season of Plunder. Earn Map Fragments in Ketchcrash and Treasure Coordinates through Ritual Activities.
Ketchcrasher I	In Ketchcrash, destroy shield generators in the Maintenance Bay, hack terminals in the Treasure Hoard, and destroy storage tanks in Ether Storage.
Cannonade	Defeat targets with Machine Guns. Defeating combatants in Expedition and defeating Guardians will award bonus progress.
Nessus Activities	On Nessus, earn progress by completing bounties, patrols, public events, and Lost Sectors.
Power Broker	Reach Power Level 1,570 by earning powerful rewards and Prime Engrams.
Mid-Range Calibration	Calibrate mid-range weapons — Hand Cannons, Glaives, Auto Rifles, Fusion Rifles, Machine Guns — on Nessus. Bonus progress in rapidly defeating combatants.
Primeval Entourage	Defeat Taken in Gambit. Earn bonus progress for defeating tougher combatants.
Iron Sharpens Iron	Complete Crucible matches. Earn bonus progress in iron Banner and for victories.
Ultimate Champions	Defeat Champions in any Nightfall strike on Hero difficulty or higher. Earn bonus progress at higher difficulty tiers.

Here are the Destiny 2 Seasonal Challenges for week 4.

Antiquarian IV	Return the third relic to the H.E.L.M. Also, defeat Vex. Defeating them with melee abilities will award bonus progress.
Freebooter I	Use treasure maps to reveal treasure chests at the end of Expeditions. Also, spend Plundered Umbral Energy to focus engrams at the Star Chart.
Broadside	Complete Ketchcrash on Master difficulty.
Shortsighted	Defeat targets with shotguns and defeat Arc blinded combatants. Defeating combatants in Expedition and defeating Guardians awards bonus progress.
Mod Collector	Unlock 12 artifact mods.
Precision Calibration	Calibrate scout rifles, sniper rifles, and linear fusion riffles by landing precision blows. Bonus progress against Guardians.
High-Value Hunter	Defeat powerful combatants in Gambit.
Slowed Down	Defeat Guardians with Stasis damage. Bonus progress for defeating slowed or frozen opponents.
Darkest Nightfall	Complete any Nightfall strike on Hero difficulty or higher.

Week 5’s Destiny 2 Seasonal Challenges are below.

Antiquarian V	Return the fifth relic to the H.E.L.M. Also, defeat powerful Fallen throughout the system. Defeating more powerful combatants will award bonus progress.
Expert Expedition II	In Expedition, gather treasure into the treasure haul and defeat Champions.
Seeker’s Cache II	Summon crewmates in Expedition and Ketchcrash. Also, decipher the Medium Treasure Beacon, available from the Star Chart in the H.E.L.M.
Spyglass	Defeat targets with Scout Rifles and Shatter damage. Defeating combatants in Ketchcrash and defeating Guardians will award bonus progress.
Mod Collector	Unlock artifact mods.
Resist and Revolt	Acquire Cry Mutiny.
Superconductor	Defeat Guardians in Crucible. Bonus progress is granted for opponents defeated with the help of Arc or Stasis effects.
Oh Captain	Defeat Cabal and Fallen bosses in strikes or Vanguard playlists.

Antiquarian VI	Return the sixth relic to the H.E.L.M. Also, defeat powerful Cabal throughout the system. Defeating more powerful combatants will award bonus progress.
Raise a Glass	Perform emotes at the end of Ketchcrash or Expedition for additional rewards. Doing so on Master difficulty will award bonus progress. This interaction requires the purchase of the first Swashbuckler upgrade.
Ketchcrasher II	In Ketchcrash, destroy shield generators in the Maintenance Bay, hack terminals in the Treasure Hoard, and destroy storage tanks in Ether Storage. Doing so in Master Ketchcrash will award bonus progress.
Hailstorm	Defeat targets with Arc or Stasis abilities. Defeating combatants in Expedition and defeating Guardians will award bonus progress.
Apex Armorer	Masterwork a piece of armor.
Absolutely Stunning	Stun Champions.
Intended Authority	Acquire the Crucible ornament for Cry Mutiny.

Efficient Expedition	Complete Expedition in each destination in under 10 minutes.
Shaper II	Level Seasonal Shaped weapons to Level 10.
Underhanded	Defeat targets with Sidearms and defeat jolted combatants. Defeating combatants in Ketchcrash and defeating Guardians will award bonus progress.
Closing In	Defeat targets with Machine Guns, Sniper Rifles, and Swords in Gambit. Defeating Guardians will award bonus progress.
Fleeting Glory	Complete Crucible matches in the Glory Rank playlist. Earn bonus progress for wins.
Grandmaster	Complete any Nightfall strike on Grandmaster.

Barrage	Defeat Champions and bosses in Ketchcrash.
Pinnacle	Reach Power Level by earning pinnacle rewards.
Hold The Trigger	Calibrate Machine Guns, Scout Rifles, and Sidearms. Rapidly defeating combatants and defeating Guardians will award bonus progress.
Intended Mischief	Acquire the Gambit ornament for Cry Mutiny.

Seeker’s Cache III	Summon First Mates in Expedition and Ketchcrash. Also, decipher the Large Treasure Beacon, available from the Star Chart in the H.E.L.M.
Battery	Defeat targets with Linear Fusion Rifles and defeat slowed combatants. Defeating combatants in Ketchcrash and defeating Guardians will award bonus progress.
Armory-Wide Calibration	Calibrate Kinetic, Energy, and Power weapons. Bonus progress against Champions.
Cold Lightning	In Gambit, defeat targets with Arc or Stasis effects. Bonus progress for defeating Guardians.
Trial by Firing Squad	Win multiple rounds in the Trials of Osiris.
Arc Vanguard	Defeat combatants with Arc or Stasis effects in Vanguard playlists.

Thunderlight	Defeat targets with Arc or Stasis Supers. Combatants defeated in Ketchcrash and Expedition, and defeated Guardians will award bonus progress.
EDZ Activities	In the EDZ, earn progress by completing bounties, patrols, public events, and Lost Sectors.
Intended Authority	Acquire the Vanguard ornament for Cry Mutiny.
