
Diablo 4 Season 8 brings back Belial as an enemy. Here’s how to unlock his Boss Power, as well as all the others once the season goes live.
Thanks to the Season 8 PTR, we already knew that Boss Powers would replace Witch Powers this season. The returning big bad Belial is leading the charge. Players will need to hunt down 24 different bosses in Season 8, defeat them, and unlock their power to use against other enemies.
These various powers will make for some new and unique builds this season. While players won’t be able to use them all at once, they’ll still be able to unlock every power and decide which ones they prefer.
Of course, Belial serves as the main antagonist of Season 8, so his boss power will be the most sought after. However, there are sure to be other powers worth obtaining, all of which are outlined below.

How to unlock Boss Powers
To get a power, you need to kill the boss it’s associated with, then use the new siphoning ability on their corpse to make their power your own.
You can only use one Main Boss Power at a time, but you can upgrade it with three Modifier Boss Powers to tailor your build to your preferred style. This essentially means you have four active at once, but only your Main Power is at full capacity; the other three are weaker versions of those Powers.
Most Boss Powers are be unlocked through Appirition Events, where you face an Appirition version of a boss after defeating a wave of enemies in the open world. Once the boss spawns, you need to take them down quickly and snag their Power. Then, you may get a chance to face Belial’s Appirition Boss form and unlock his Power upon defeating him.

It’s also worth pointing out that some bosses have multiple powers due to there being more than one version of that boss. For example, Belial serves as a Lair Boss in his main form, but as an Aparition Boss in another and both Powers are different.
Some can only be unlocked in Torment difficulty, so we’ll make that clear in the table below:

Remember these Boss Powers will only be available in Season 8 of Diablo 4, unless Blizzard decides to repackage them as Aspects or Rings like they did with Vampire Powers and Malignant Hearts.
