EA SportsEA FC 25 Title Update 10 introduces a new shooting PlayStyle, three new Heroes, a long-awaited ICON, and several highly requested gameplay changes.
On March 7, FUT Birthday Team 1 was revealed, including Erling Haaland, Antonine Griezman, Ronaldinho, Patrick Viera, and more. In addition, the Road to the Final and FC Fantasy promos are still in full swing, as cards receive upgrades based on how their clubs perform.
While there is a lot to be excited about on the content front, there are some doubts about the current state of gameplay. Players accused the devs of reverting positive gameplay updates, but the devs doubled down and reiterated that no gameplay changes had been made.
EA assured fans that official patch notes will include all gameplay tuning changes, including everything in the upcoming Title Update 10.
EA FC 25 Title Update 10 update patch notes
EA SPORTS/DEXERTOEA did not reveal an official release date for Title Update 10, but confirmed that the update will release soon. Here are the complete patch notes from the upcoming update.
Gameplay
You must briefly press the shoot button to perform low-driven shots in FC 25, which is either O on PlayStation or B on Xbox.
Low Driven Shot PlayStyle and PlayStyle+
- Significantly increased shot accuracy
- Moderately increased ball travel speed
- Moderately increased how quickly players can perform the requested shot
Low Driven Shot PlayStyle+ has the same effects as above but is more effective
Precision lob pass and clearance header updates
- Moderately reduced accuracy of fully powered Precision Lob Passes
- Significantly increased the accuracy of clearance headers
Gameplay issues addressed
- In some specific situations, AI defenders did not press the ball carrier as intended
- Sometimes, incorrect goalkeeper save animations could have occurred when the keeper was trying to save tight-angle near-post shots
New ICONs and Heroes
Starting on March 14, Seydou Doumbia, Victor Ibarbo, and Gervinho will be available through Objectives and Evolution in Ultimate Team. In addition, FUT Birthday versions of the three players will also be available in packs.
For the first time in series history, Franz Beckenbauer is coming as an ICON card in Ultimate Team. On March 21, a Base ICON version will be added to packs as part of the UEFA Dreamchasers promo, and then on Friday, April 4, an upgraded pro card will be in the FUT Immortals promo through packs.

Super sub player items
EA did not reveal a release date for super sub player items but confirmed that they would be added soon.
“These Player Items will have full Chemistry when they’re subbed into matches during the second half and beyond. Additionally, following the same activation conditions, Role Familiarity at the Role+ level will be increased to Role++. Just keep in mind that these Player Items need to be subbed in in their primary or alternate positions in order for their Chemistry and Role Familiarity effects to be active.”
Targets Ultimate Team Friendly game mode
- At the start of the match, targets will appear at each corner of the net for both teams
- Hitting those targets when scoring will count as 2 goals and will permanently destroy the target that was hit
- This means each player will have an opportunity to scope up to 4 additional goals by hitting all 4 targets over the course of the match
- With this new mode, we aim to offer players a fun and strategic choice when deciding their shooting targets, and we encourage everyone to try the new Low Driven Shot PlayStyle as an effective way to hit those lower corners
Clubs
Level Cap Increase And New PlayStyle
Following a Server Release, we’ll soon be expanding Clubs progression with 20 additional levels, enabling you to earn more Skill Points and develop further.
Each level will bring 1 Skill Point, with level 120 giving 5 Skill Points for a total of 24 extra Skill Points, enabling new player progression options.
Additionally, at level 110, players will be able to unlock the new Low Driven Shot+ PlayStyle for their Avatars. Regular Low Driven Shot PlayStyle will be available without any level restrictions, similar to other PlayStyles.
New Facilities
We’re introducing two new Facilities – the Low Driven Drill and Strength Drill. The Low Driven Drill Facility is a great way for everyone in the club to experience and try the new Low Driven Shot PlayStyle, and the Strength Drill will provide the Block PlayStyle+. Paired with key Attribute increases, the new facilities add more options for the club’s manager.
Here’s what these 3-Star Facilities will include:
Low Driven Drill
- Attributes: Long Pass, Shot Power
- PlayStyle: Low Driven Shot
Strength Drill
- Attributes: Strength, Stand Tackle
- PlayStyle: Block+
Double Coin Events
We’ll be introducing Double Coins Events to Clubs following a Server Release, and players will be able to earn extra Coins during these events.
Similarly to the Double XP event introduced in the First Frost update, players will be able to see a x2 Multiplier in the menus to know when the event is active. Furthermore, events can have both XP and Coins effects simultaneously, meaning players can receive Double XP and Double Coins after each played game.
We are planning to run several Double Coins and XP events over the course of the upcoming seasons, so keep an eye on the Clubs menu.
Career Mode
Career Mode UI Improvements, New ICONs, And More
- We continue to update Career Mode with new Live Start Points and Snapshots, and in this update, we’re also making some UI changes based on your feedback
- The Central tab now shows Upcoming Fixtures and displays current Standings, meanwhile, Task List text has been made smaller for easier viewing
- Career Mode also has the new Low Driven Shot PlayStyle, Youth Academy Players can develop it in Manager Career, and it can be unlocked in Player Career
- And speaking of Player Career, the ICON selection will be updated following a Server Release and includes the likes of Franz Beckenbauer

Visual Updates
With the Legends Return Update, we’re excited to bring a suite of authenticity and visual updates to FC 25. You can expect to see 69 updated star heads following a Server Release.
We’re also adding two new celebrations inspired by real-world players across various modes. Plus, we’re adding set-piece animations unique to Gareth Bale; you’ll be able to see them during free kicks and penalties.
Vintage Theme In Main Menu
The first thing FC 25 players might notice with the Legends Return Update is a vintage visual theme in the Main Menu. There’s a nostalgic visual tone from old broadcasts intended to shine a spotlight on some of football’s greats. You can expect to see Franz Beckenbauer, Pele, Diego Maradona, and Johan Cruyff appearing in the Main Menu.
