Johnny Somali’s streaming ban on Parti didn’t last long as he’s been unbanned and already promised more streams in the future.
In mid-November, Johnny Somali – real name Ramsey Khalid Ismael – was charged with obstruction of business by South Korean police after he caused chaos inside a 7-Eleven store.
Ismael had also come under fire for further disruption of the Korean public, including breaking the rules on playing music out loud and delaying public transport, as well as playing North Korean propaganda out loud.
The streamer has been on trial since the start of March, with charges stacking up against him. Despite that, he has returned to streaming and even though he was hit with a ban, Somali has promised even more nuisance streams moving forward.
Johnny Somali stream ban lifted after 24 hours
That’s right, the streamer had been banned from a new streaming service, Parti, on March 22. However, that suspension only lasted 24 hours, with his channel being accessible once again.
As per Legal Mindset, there wasn’t a “sincere intent to punish” Somali by the Parti devs. Instead, he posted apparent Discord messages from them indicating that they were attempting to delete the footage from his streams and “impede” law enforcement.
“Should we delete the vid. Eras the evidence from the Korean feds lol,” a chain of messages from thecreator28 read.
On top of that, Legal Mindset revealed that Somali had been unable to stream after being banned due to an issue with his stream key – nothing else.
“Ramsey’s streaming page is back and we have confirmation that the only reason he isn’t streaming is due to stream key issues,” he posted. “I fully expect more crash out content as the “marketing ban” (non-ban ban) and perceived lack of consequences only emboldened Ramsey and his community.”

Additionally, another Discord message confirms that Somali will be returning to stream on Parti once those issues are addressed.
The legal expert has suggested that there are more charges coming Ismael’s way too.
