Logan Paul sues auction over $600k Michael Jordan autograph

Logan Paul has filed an injunction against Heritage Auctions as he reportedly has some concerns with a $600,000 Michael Jordan signed floorboard.

Over the last few years, Logan Paul has become a major player in the collectibles world. His obsession initially started with Pokémon, buying up expensive boxes of original cards before moving into single cards.

The imPaulsive podcast host splashed out on an extremely rare Pikachu illustrator card, even wearing it on a necklace during his entrance at WrestleMania. He had a diamond-encrusted Base Set Charizard during his fight with Floyd Mayweather, too.

He has expanded into a few other avenues too, even splashing out on a signed piece of floor from the United Centre, the home of the Chicago Bulls. The floor piece, which is supposedly game-used during the 1994-98 seasons, was also signed by Michael Jordan, with a few different inscriptions from the NBA legend.

According to ESPN, Logan has filed an injunction against Heritage Auctions in the Texas district court due to concerns he has about the item.

The YouTuber-turned-WWE wrestler had won the auction with a bid of $562,555.42, but wasn’t allowed to inspect the item before completing the payment. He also alleges that he was told by Heritage that he would lose his rights to the floor if he did not meet the deadline on October 25.

Paul’s temporary injunction has been granted by a judge, with a court date of October 8 set to review it.

Logan paid almost $600k for the Bulls-themed floor.

Heritage told ESPN that they believe the injunction has “no merit” and that they had offered Logan the chance “to accommodate any in-person inspection and reasonable efforts for additional review.”

The injunction claims that the item “does not match the court from 1995-1998, as a result of the court either being replaced or, as Heritage claims, repainted and resurfaced.”

Logan has not commented on it via social media, only posting about a collectible Pikachu illustrator card.
