YouTube channel Nerdout! is hosting a custom Fortnite Trios event on July 20 that features a $25,000 prize pool along with some big-name players such as Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney and Dennis ‘Cloak‘ Lepore.

It’s a busy day in Fortnite as the culmination of the season-long robot saga comes to a close, the Xbox Cup, and now this Trios tournament.

Nerdout! held a poll on July 14 asking fans and players what format they would like to see, and Trios custom matches was the easy victor with over two-thirds of the vote.

One thing to take note of is the fact they are using custom lobbies which might push back the start, depending on how long the robot event goes for. Epic Games disabled all custom lobbies leading up to the event.
