DexertoFortnite just dropped a weapon so wild it broke the game’s rules. It’s fun, terrifying, and absolutely ridiculous, all at the same time.
The Fortnite x One Punch Man collab went live on August 26, 2025. It brought Saitama, Genos, and Tatsumaki into the game as playable skins. Each hero arrived with bundles of cosmetics, themed emotes, and over-the-top accessories.
The crossover officially launched August 27 at 4 AM ET and will run until September 4, just in time for you to switch gears and play Silksong. Players can grab bundles in the Item Shop, each priced around 1,500 V-Bucks individually or discounted in packs. This collab followed Naruto, Dragon Ball, and Jujutsu Kaisen.
Fortnite just got its wildest weapon yet
Saitama’s Medallion turned heads instantly. The item gave players one-shot pickaxe swings on both opponents and structures. Yes, one swing. One elimination.
It also boosted run speed, letting players zip across the map faster. The only tradeoff was a 20% slower swing animation. That didn’t matter much when one hit was all you needed.
Players were quick to react. One clip exploded with the comment, “wait that’s fire but will it be in comp is the real question.” Another commenter laughed, “Don’t worry chat it’s gonna be vaulted soon..” A top reply summed it up: “this HAS to be the best thing Fortnite has ever added, the sweats about to RAGE.” The weapon blurred the line between broken and brilliant.
Epic has leaned into big-name anime collabs before, but this one pushed gameplay limits further than most. The Medallion worked as a wink to Saitama’s signature one-punch ability while also shaking up Fortnite’s usual pace. Whether it stays in competitive play or gets vaulted quickly, the experiment already sparked nonstop clips and debate.
Next up, Epic isn’t slowing down. The Simpsons event is rumored to be around the corner, bringing Springfield into the Island. Beavis and Butt-Head are also tipped to crash the Item Shop soon.
