Almost two years on from their last appearance on the Fortnite store, Terminator skins are finally coming back to the game.
Fortnite is well known for its crossovers, with many major franchises appearing in Epic’s battle royale over the years. However, many of them arrive on the in-game store before vanishing for months or years at a time, such as the infamous God of War skins.
One of the biggest is the Terminator collab, which last appeared in 2023 and was never seen again. Now, almost two years later, the skins are making their long-awaited return.
Terminator skins return to Fortnite “soon”
Following the April 22 update, dataminer HYPEX revealed that the Terminator crossover will be back in Fortnite in the coming days. Although they didn’t give an exact date, they confirmed that they will reappear “soon.”
Players can expect both the Sarah Connor and T-800 to return, along with all of their additional Pickaxes, Emotes, and Back Blings. It remains to be seen if they remain at the same price as they were two years ago, which was 1,500 V-Bucks for the skins or 2,800 V-Bucks for the full bundle.
These skins were first released in 2021, before showing up again briefly in 2023 when a second batch of Skynet-themed cosmetics arrived.
There is also no word just yet on whether the other Terminator skin, which features Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s likeness and was first released in 2023, will also return. This outfit, simply named ‘Terminator,’ was released around the same time, so it would make for it to be added back to the shop alongside its counterparts.
It was particularly popular the first time around, not only because it featured the series’ star in all his glory, but also because it had selectable styles that revealed some of the metal underneath.
With no new Terminator movies releasing anytime soon, this is the perfect chance for fans who missed out the first time to get their Arnie fix.
