For years, Fortnite players have imagined what an official Squid Game crossover would look like, and after a long wait, they will be able to see how these two universes converge.
While countless Squid Game fan-made maps in Creative Mode gave us a taste of what a crossover with Fortnite would feel like, Red Light, Green Light, and Glass Bridge remakes included, nothing quite matched the potential of an Epic Games-approved experience. However, that’s about to change.
Veteran of UEFN builds or just casuals who love a good elimination-style challenge have a reason to celebrate: Fortnite x Squid Game collab is real. So, let’s break down everything you need to know about this crossover, from what’s coming to when you can jump in.
Fortnite x Squid Game release date

This collab was announced during the State of Play, alongside an Avatar: The Last Airbender and a Star Wars creator tools release window too. Then, the official Fortnite X account confirmed it.
