DexertoFortnite‘s The Baron’s Big Deal is yet another quest where you have to find two elusive characters who apparently don’t believe in GPS.
Daigo and the Baron are out there, chilling by a river like it’s a peaceful vacation, while you – the ever-dutiful player – are stuck squinting at the map and dodging sniper fire looking for them.
But fear not, brave looter of loot and slayer of bosses, because their location isn’t as tricky as it seems. Here’s exactly how to track down the magical duo and finish your quest in style.
The Baron’s Big Deal guide
To locate Daigo and Baron, jump into a match and follow these steps:
Step 1: Watch the sky at the start
As soon as you jump out of the Battle Bus, look toward the northern part of the map.
You’ll see a dramatic pink explosion burst into the sky – this is your beacon. That explosion creates a giant pink pillar of light that marks Daigo and the Baron’s location.
Step 2: Look for Fletcher’s medallion on the map
Not great at spotting sky beams mid-fall? No worries, open your map and look for the icon of Fletcher Kane’s Unstoppable Medallion. This icon also pinpoints the same spot.
Step 3: Head northeast of Magic Mosses
They’re usually chilling near the river northeast of Magic Mosses. It’s in the upper right corner of the map, and once you’re close, you’ll see the pink light coming from the portal clearly.
The boss is usually nearby, and he’s not exactly a welcoming committee. If you’re just there for Daigo and the Baron, approach stealthily to avoid a full-blown brawl.
