Live events are some of the most memorable updates for Fortnite, giving players a chance to experience limited-time celebrations of various types together for a short window, often with several earnable rewards for participation.

Chapter 6, Season 4 has been in full swing since its launch, introducing plenty of new content to keep players busy. Now that the dust has settled, however, fans have noticed an ominous addition to the map, which could be tied for the upcoming live event.

Here’s when the next Fortnite live event will begin and everything you need to know.

Next Fortnite live event date and time

The next Fortnite live event is speculated to arrive on September 26, 2025 in the OG mode. Recently, a red cube, which is essentially the corrupted version of Kevin the cube, appeared on the island near the rift. Epic even poked fun at its existence via a post on X, saying: “the red cube you all know and love is back.”

Also known as “Revin,” this red cube is speculated to roll across the map like the original. Some players are convinced it may travel towards Loot Lake and eventually melt in it at either the 26 or 27 this month, leading to a possible major corruption live event.

Epic didn’t specify exactly what would happen just yet, so it’s best to take this information with a grain of salt for now. Though we’ll be sure to update this section once more details emerge.

Superman was joined by Hope and Jonesy in the last live event.

Set in Demon’s Domain, the event featured a climactic battle against a massive kraken-like creature, orchestrated by the villain Daigo. Players joined forces with Superman and Supernova Academy heroes to confront this threat.

It marked the dramatic conclusion of Chapter 6 Season 3 before introducing a new narrative centered around a bug invasion for Chapter 6, Season 4.

How to watch a Fortnite live event

To join a Fortnite live event, either ensure you’re in a Battle Royale or Zero Build match at the event’s specified start time and date, or join the specific playlist.

For example, the Death Star Sabotage took place in its own playlist, and players were able to find it on the Discover tab two hours before the event began.

In the case of the upcoming OG live event, it’s recommended to head to the game early at 2:00 PM ET to avoid possible server issues, allowing you to secure a spot for yourself.
