When is the next season of Fortnite?

The next season of Fortnite will be another one of Fortnite’s many collabs, and while it’ll still be some time before the current season ends, we’ve already got details on dates for the upcoming Chapter.

Fortnite has plenty of ways to keep the island exciting, but one of the biggest is its different seasons, with each bringing a fresh theme, Battle Pass, and new weapons to shake things up.

Epic is constantly dropping updates to add more content, so once you’ve run out of things to do or weekly quests to complete, you might be wondering when the next season will release and what it has to offer.

Next Fortnite season date and time

Fortnite’s next season is set to arrive on November 1, 2025.

That’s the same day the current season’s Battle Pass wraps up, with the in-game timer showing an end time of 2:30 AM ET. This time usually signals the start of downtime before the new season kicks in, given that a new season means players will be able to access a whole new Battle Pass.

Servers typically go offline after this to prepare for the new update. So, players can likely expect Chapter 6 Season 5 to drop shortly after — unless any delays or issues keep the devs from releasing the patch.

What to expect in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 5

According to leaks, Chapter 6, Season 5 will be a short season with a theme revolving around The Simpsons. 

For a while now, rumours have been circulating around the community about a collaboration with the animated sitcom.

Much like the Star Wars season, fans can expect characters from the franchise to be added as skins in the Battle Pass and shop during this time.

In terms of gameplay, well-known leaker Loolo revealed that we could be getting a smaller, Reload-sized map based on The Simpsons. With that in mind, it’s likely some of the iconic locations from Springfield may be added as POIs.

Similar to Chapter 2 Remix, this will reportedly be a mini season. So, it should last four weeks before the next one begins. Of course, you’ll want to take this info with a grain of salt, especially since Epic has yet to reveal details about the new season.
