All 3 Cogheart locations in Silksong & where to use them

If you are stuck running in circles trying to remember where the Coghearts are in Silksong, you are not alone.

These pieces are tied to one of the trickiest memory-based puzzles in Hollow Knight: Silksong, and it is easy to forget exactly where each one is after seeing them once. You’ll often skip a location, lose track of the bell patterns, or have no idea where the pieces are used.

I put everything together in one place so you can stop guessing. Here is every Cogheart location, the bell patterns you need, and what to do with them once you have all three.

How to start the Final Audience Wish

This Final Audience Wish only becomes available after you’ve encountered Setinel 2 twice. Your first encounter happens when you encounter it sleeping inside a glass box in Cogwork Core. You must feed it three Cogheart pieces to revitalize it.

Later, you’ll find it on a random location in the Citadel shortly after freeing it, so let’s get started.

Cogheart 1 location & puzzle

The first Cogheart puzzle can be found in the Choral Chambers.

Play the bells I’ve tagged with numbers in the image above in the following order to solve to puzzle, which is divided in two pages.

• Phase 1 sequence: 3, 6, 5, 1, 7
• Phase 2 sequence: 2, 4, 6, 3, 5, 1

Completing both phases unlocks the Cogheart in the center of the room.

Cogheart 2 location & puzzle

The second Cogheart puzzle can be found in the Whispering Vaults. Again, play the bells I’ve tagged with numbers in the image above in the following order to solve to puzzle, which is divided in three pages.

• Phase 1: 1, 2, 7, 4
• Phase 2: 7, 5, 5, 4, 5
• Phase 3: 2, 7, 3, 5, 6, 1

After finishing all three phases, grab the Cogheart from the middle.

Cogheart 3 location & puzzle

The second Cogheart puzzle can be found in the Memorium. Again, play the bells I’ve tagged with numbers in the image above in the following order to solve to puzzle, which is divided in three pages.

• Phase 1: 3, 5, 7, 2
• Phase 2: 7, 5, 6, 7, 1
• Phase 3: 6, 4, 2, 5, 3, 1

Note that you may need to do some parkour to reach specific bells, so having the Dash skill is a must.

The final Cogheart piece appears at the center once completed.

How to use the Coghearts

Return to Cogworks Core and insert the Cogheart into the automaton. This awakens the second Sentinel, which will trigger it to later appear throughout the Citadel fighting enemies. After sighting him twice, you will unlock the Final Audience wish in Songclave.
