Difference between Mental and Physical Abilities

Physical Abilities primarily focus on hard performance boosts for physical attributes like running, throwing, and so forth. Mental Abilities, on the other hand, focus on composure, as well as to resist pressure from weather or other external influences.

Players can have up to five Physical and three Mental Abilities active. Abilities are determined by a player’s archetype, while Mental Abilities are influenced by one’s position.

How Ability Tiers work in College Football 25

Simply put, the higher the tier, the more effect the Ability will have. Thus, Gold and Platinum are better than Bronze or Silver.

However, keep in mind Abilities don’t “guarantee” anything per the development team. Abilities are purely situational.
