Understanding cards in Marvel Snap

While almost every card in Marvel Snap comes with a unique effect, a few traits are shared across the board to help you identify key attributes.

In the top left corner of any given card you’ll see the associated Cost. This number in the blue circle represents the amount of Energy required to play said card. Similarly, in the top right corner, you’ll find the card’s Power.

By tapping onto any particular card, you’ll be able to see its ability directly under the artwork. In rare cases, select cards may drop onto the board without a special effect, though the vast majority will feature a brief explanation of their ability.

Upgrading the rarity of your cards is the key to unlocking new ones in Marvel Snap.

In order to boost your standing, your goal is to upgrade the rarity of your cards. Using Boosters and Credits, you can upgrade each and every card from Common to Infinity. In doing so, not only does the border color and artwork evolve, but your Collection Level grows immensely.

As your Collection Level begins to skyrocket, so too do the upgrade requirements. Thus, be sure to prioritize cheaper upgrades at first to maximize the efficiency of your Credits.
