The best GFL2 Vector build can drastically raise your team’s damage, allowing you to melt through PvE and PvP content.
Vector is one of the best characters in Girls Frontline 2 thanks to her amazing buffing abilities, which increase Burn damage. As you can imagine, having her paired with OP single-target DPS units like QJ and Sharkry can quickly make even the toughest enemy quiver in fear.
This deadly SSR unit has proven so lethal that we recommend every GFL2 player use their Collapse Pieces and Targeted Access Permissions on her limited banner. So, if you’ve unlocked Vector or just want to know the best build, weapon, team comp, and more, we have you covered.
Best Vector build

To get the best Vector build, we recommend using the following Keys, attachments, weapons, and team:
- Weapon: Banshee’s Whisper
- Team: Vector, Qiongjiu, Sharkry, Ksenia
Keys
- Splattering Pessimism: Gains 3 points of Confectance Index at the start of the battle.
- Negative Motivation: When an enemy unit within range is inflicted with Overburn, launches Emergency Support, dealing Burn damage equal to 60% of attack and 1 point of stability damage. This effect can only be triggered once per turn.
- Hospice Care: If Dead End Meltdown kills its main target, generates Incineration tiles within 3 tiles of the target for 2 turns.
Best attachments
- Burn Boost: Having a Burn Boost set will increase Vector Burn damage by 20%.
- Phase Strike: Deals 15% increased damage to targets with Phase Element debuffs. This set is great for players who want to avoid grinding and have a set that can be used on multiple characters.
Vector release date

Vector was released on May 1, 2025, and her banner will be available until May 21, 2025.
This means players have plenty of time to pull on the limited banner. She’s also available alongside Krolik and Nemises, two SR units that have a rate-up boost.
Who is Vector?
Vector is an SSR unit who is a member of the Support class. She wields an SMG and is known for her Burn debuffs, which enhance the damage of Vector and her allies’ Burn abilities.
This makes her a meta pick for Burn-based teams, as she significantly raises the damage and ensures you’re constantly applying Scorch tiles onto the battlefield.

Best weapon

The best Vector weapon is Banshee’s Whisper. This weapon is tailor-made for Vector, as it increases her damage output by 20%. Additionally, when Overheat Combustion is active, targeted Support Attacks will also receive a 5% damage increase.
This is incredibly powerful, given Vector’s passive applies Overheat Combustion whenever an enemy has the Overburn debuff on them.
Related
If you haven’t unlocked Banshee’s Whisper, you can always use the Svarog or get Classified Manuscript from the battle pass.
The best free-to-play option is the Ksvec .45 ACP, which increases damage dealt to targets with debuffs, by 5%. If that wasn’t good enough, damage dealt to targets with Burn debuffs is also increased by 5%.
You can read all the traits and effects for each weapon in the table below:
Weapon | Trait | Effect |
---|---|---|
Banshee’s Whisper (SSR) | Gains 1 random buff for 1 turn if the user has full HP at the start of the action. | Increases damage by 10%. If Burn damage is dealt, increase by another 10%. If the target has Overheat Combustion, damage dealt by targeted Support Attacks increases by 5%. |
Svarog (SSR) | When dealing damage, for each debuff the target has, ignore 5% of their defense, up to a maximum of 20%. | The targeted damage of the City Warden increases by 15/18/21/24/27/30%. After you or an ally performs a support attack, your next active attack’s critical hit rate increases by 10%, up to a maximum of 15/18/21/24/27/30%. |
Classified Manuscript (SSR) | If the unit has moved 5 tiles or more, they gain Movement Up 2 for 1 turn at the start of the next action. | For every 1 tile moved, ignores 5/6/7/8/9/10% of the target’s defense, up to a maximum of 25/30/35/40/45/50%. If movement exceeds 5/5/4/4/4/3 tiles, cleanses 1/1/2/2/2/3 random buff from the target before attacking. |
Ksvec .45 ACP (SR) | Gains 1 random buff for 1 turn if the user has full HP at the start of the action. | Increases damage dealt to targets with debuffs, by 5%. Damage dealt to targets with Burn debuffs is further increased by 5%. |
Best team

The current best Vector team comp in the global version of GFL2 is the following:
- Vector (Support/buff/debuff)
- Qiongjiu (DPS)
- Sharkry (DPS)
- Ksenia (Support/Healer)
This team is the best Burn team comp in the current version of GFL2. The main synergies here are the deadly Vector + Qiongjiu combo, which drastically raises QJ’s already OP single-target damage. While QJ is already at the top of GFL2’s DPS charts, Vector’s passive (Perception Block) increases the number of all support attacks that deal Burn damage by 1.
Essentially, QJ will constantly be lighting up enemies with buffed Burn attacks whenever Vector is around. The buff to fire attacks also makes Sharkry a great secondary DPS option, especially if you have her at V6, as you’ll be melting enemies’ HP bars before they can even react.
Lastly, Ksenia is our healer. This SR Support has the bonus of being a Burn unit, who can keep her team alive with life-saving heals, stability regen, stability damage, and buffs. This is particularly useful during boss fights, where you need to weaken the enemy’s defence and replenish allied health bars.
