Activision is enlisting players’ help in an attempt to better understand what they want to see changed in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
BO6 and Warzone seasonal updates always generate heated discussions, as players either agree or disagree with the changes. For example, in Season 2 Reloaded, Raven Software controversially decided to remove the ability to re-use loadout drops, and players slammed the design choice.
The mid-season update also shakes up Warzone and BO6’s meta by nerfing and buffing several weapons, which is guaranteed to create buzz as well. Activision wants to hear players’ opinions to avoid as much frustration as possible.
Call of Duty Recon Squad explained

Starting in Season 2 Reloaded, the Call of Duty Recon Squad will be able to provide feedback through surveys, online community discussion boards, and potentially focus groups. All feedback earns points in the Recon Squad that players can use to redeem for BO6 or Warzone in-game rewards.
However, Recon Squad is invite-only, and it’s not based on how many modes or the number of hours you play. All lucky participants will receive an invite from Call of Duty in the email related to Activision ID.
The devs also warned players that they won’t be able to forward the invite to any of their friends or family, as it is explicitly tied to Activision IDs.
Activision explained what participants can expect: “Research topics will be centered on recently released Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone content and many other topics related to Call of Duty. We’re interested in hearing what you have to say about recent maps, modes, and other seasonal content from our games!”
