Borderlands 4 has finally arrived, which can mean only one thing: it’s time for a brand new set of SHiFT codes to grant you free Golden Keys and cosmetics.

SHiFT codes are nothing new in the world of Borderlands. Tiny Tina’s Wonderland, Borderlands 3, and all the games that came before featured tons of handy codes to offer you free loot, including unique (and extremely powerful) weapons and ammo.

That’s no different in Borderlands 4, which also features these handy SHiFT codes. They’re extremely limited and don’t always hang around for long, though, meaning you’ll need to redeem them before they expire. So here’s every SHiFT code available right now and how to redeem them.

Active SHiFT codes in Borderlands 4

There are six active SHiFT codes in Borderlands 4, most of which provide a Golden Key each. ‘3H63J-Z3S3J-KR3BK-BTJ33-ZWKTK’ and ‘TSR3B-J5S3T-KRBJW-BTTBJ-JRCXX’ are only available for a few more hours, so make sure to act fast if you’ve yet to get them:

What are Golden Keys used for?

Golden Keys are one of the most common rewards that you’ll come across in the Borderlands series when using a SHiFT code, and can be used to open Golden Chests to receive all manner of different, high-quality loot.

How to redeem codes

There are two different ways to redeem codes in Borderlands 4: In-game or through the SHiFT code website. Here’s what you need to do for each method:

In Game

• Head to the SHiFT tab in the game’s main menu
• Click on Rewards on the left rail
• Paste in your code
• Click redeem
• Head to the nearest Golden Key chest in-game and use the Golden Key on it to claim your loot

Through the website

• Navigate to the SHiFT code website.
• Create an account or log in with an existing one.

• Verify your details on your profile page.
• Head to the Rewards Page and select the platform you’re playing Borderlands 4 on.
• Copy and paste the code you want to redeem and press Check.

Dexerto

• Choose the game you want to claim the code in — make sure to pick Borderlands 4.
• Head into the game and grab the rewards from your Mail.

What are Borderlands 4 SHiFT codes used for?

Just as it was in all the games that came before it, SHiFT codes in Borderlands 4 let you redeem free rewards in the game, including Golden Keys, Diamond Keys, and, of course, skins for your weapons and more.

Expect ammo, guns, and new designs to appear occasionally, offering Harlowe, Amon, Vex, and Rafa a brand new toy to unleash on those bandits.
