The iconic All Stars tournament is celebrating its fifth edition by testing the best Candy Crush players from 23 different countries and offering 1 million dollars to the lucky winner.

The All Stars competition created by King – the studio behind Candy Crush – has been held annually since 2020. It brings together players from all over the world and pits them against each other to find the ultimate best player and reward them with $1M.

Last year, the tournament brought together over 15 million players who completed more than 2 billion levels. This time around, the studio hopes to gather even more with a revamped structure that will keep contestants on edge over the two months they will have to compete against each other.

The competition already kicked off its initial phase on March 20. However, players can still sign in as inscriptions are free and will remain open until March 27, when knockout rounds will start.

The Candy Crush All Star tournament’s main attraction – besides the incredible prize pool – is that any player can participate. The only requirements are to be at least 18 years old, to have an account with at least level 5, and to belong to one of the 23 countries allowed to register.

The first phase will put players in qualifying rounds, facing increasingly difficult challenges. Then, knockout rounds will take place to end up with the ten players that will fly to Los Angeles, California to go neck to neck in a live final for one million dollars. The final stage of the competition will take place between June 11 and June 13.
