Disney Dreamlight Valley’s latest Star Path is here and is themed around Aladdin, a beloved classic. It features vibrant, stylish rewards. There’s just one problem – none of them cater to masculine-presenting players.
Star Paths work like a Battle Pass. Players complete tasks to earn tokens. Tokens unlock exclusive, time-limited rewards. Each Star Path follows a theme. Past ones have celebrated villains, music, and fairy tales.
Outfits are a big deal in Dreamlight Valley. Players get themed clothes and accessories. Even Disney characters get alternate outfits. It’s a huge part of customization.
But, somehow, the Aladdin Star Path forgot half its audience.
The Oasis Retreat is missing a key player – Aladdin himself
This Aladdin Star Path features Jasmine’s iconic look. There are accessories, feminine hairstyles, and dazzling gowns. But Aladdin is almost nonexistent.

Players are frustrated. “Yet again, we have a Star Path with little to no male clothing,” one user said. “Jafar’s goatee doesn’t count.”
They pointed out that even the Genie’s bag is a purse. “Couldn’t it have been a backpack?” they asked.
Others were disappointed by the lost opportunity. “The movie was groundbreaking for male Disney protagonists,” another player noted. “Aladdin was a hero, and he actually had a name. Yet, here we are, with no options for male players.”
Not everyone wants a princess wardrobe. “I don’t even like masculine clothing, but I get the frustration,” one player admitted. “There really aren’t many options for men.”
Another added, “My whole family plays – my husband, my sons – and we love dressing up for Star Paths. This time, we can’t.”

One woman summed it up: “I love wearing masc stuff. I don’t need 30 dresses. Just give us options.”
Dreamlight Valley thrives on customization. But its Star Paths keep leaving masculine-presenting players behind, leaving them wishing for a whole new world elsewhere.
