Keep Digging is looking like the next popular indie release, complete with crazy gameplay and an extremely simple premise: just keep digging.

We’re definitely in the era of wild games becoming extremely successful. Whether it’s extremely popular hits like Schedule 1 or the manic obstacle course adventure Fall Guys, there’s always a wacky game everyone becomes obsessed with.

Well, the next one may be about to land, and it’s all about digging for treasure. So, if you’re interested in Keep Digging, here’s all you need to know.

Does Keep Digging have a release date?

No, not yet. Keep Digging is coming soon, meaning we have no concrete release date or window for the adventure.

However, when a release date is announced, we’ll be sure to update this article, so check back soon.

What is Keep Digging?

Keep Digging is exactly what it says in the title. It’s a digging game that has you, and up to eight players, digging a hole up to 1,000 meters.

Wild Dog

As you and your friends go down, you’ll discover gems, treasures, ores, and ancient technology to sell along the way, allowing you to upgrade your Shovels, Pickaxes, and more. On top of this, you’ll uncover dungeons and plenty of unexpected items or locations.

The gameplay itself seems extremely simple, which is part of the game’s charm. However, you can also uncover NPC companions who will dig while you’re offline, and look the part with extensive character creation.

Platforms

Currently, Keep Digging is only available on PC, specifically Steam.

Whether it comes to any other platforms is yet to be revealed, but we’ll update this article if it does.

The developers behind Keep Digging, Wild Dog, released a gameplay trailer, showcasing some hilarious adventures, a little bit of swearing, and, of course, plenty of digging. You can watch it below.
