After FM25 was canceled, the studio is going all-in on making FM26 its most polished entry yet. Powered by a new Unity engine, the game promises sharper visuals, smarter player movement, and a slicker UI that’s easier to navigate.
With a November launch across PC, consoles, and more, this is the Football Manager entry fans have been waiting for.
Release date, price & platforms

FM26 launches on November 4, 2025 worldwide for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
A Touch version will arrive on Nintendo Switch on December 4, 2025, while a mobile version is expected via Netflix. The Standard edition has been priced at $59.99.
Why FM25 was scrapped
FM25 was canceled earlier in 2025 after multiple delays and missed quality targets. Sports Interactive refunded pre-orders and admitted the release “would’ve made us look stupid.” That setback cleared the way for FM26 to rebuild momentum and reestablish trust with fans.
