
The most talked-about games coming out of Gamescom 2025 have been revealed, with new data from Mindgame highlighting which unreleased titles generated the most buzz across search, streaming, and social platforms.
Analytics firm Mindgame’s mindSHARE metric measures how much attention each new game is commanding, giving a clear snapshot of audience demand coming out of this year’s Gamescom event in Cologne.
1. Hollow Knight: Silksong

Hollow Knight: Silksong leads the way with a 0.335% mindSHARE score after a major surge in attention at Gamescom. Searches reached over 2 million queries, while YouTube content jumped 548 places. The game gained almost 35,000 new Steam followers and drew in 34.7 million extra TikTok views.
2. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7

Black Ops 7 placed second with 757,000 searches. It added more than 59 million TikTok views and climbed 256 places in YouTube rankings, confirming huge demand ahead of release. Despite this, there is serious concern that Battlefield 6 is shaping up to steal CoD’s thunder this year.
3. Resident Evil Requiem

Resident Evil Requiem followed closely with 966,000 searches and over 43 million TikTok views. Capcom’s sequel also jumped 369 places on YouTube and attracted 7,500 new Steam followers during the week.
4. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

LEGO Batman made a strong debut with 1 million searches and 15,000 new Steam followers. It also picked up almost 12 million additional TikTok views, cementing it as one of the surprise Gamescom highlights.

5. Black Myth: Zhong Kui

The next entry in the Black Myth series pulled in 702,000 searches and generated over 10 million new TikTok views. YouTube interest placed it inside the top 200, proving the franchise is holding its place among bigger names.
6. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV

The long-awaited RTS secured 543,000 searches and 16,100 new Steam followers. It also saw a notable lift on Twitch rankings and added 1.5 million TikTok views.
7. World of Warcraft: Midnight

Blizzard’s expansion gained 287,000 searches but saw the biggest jump in YouTube, climbing more than 1,000 places. TikTok views rose by 29 million, making it one of the strongest late movers in the ranking.

8. World of Tanks: HEAT

The tank combat spin-off registered 303,000 searches, added 2,000 Steam followers, and rose to over a thousand on Twitch rankings. TikTok growth was smaller at 34,600, but it still carved a place in the top 10.
9. Hell Let Loose: Vietnam

The new setting for the tactical shooter gained 239,000 searches and 7,500 Steam followers while picking up 14.3 million TikTok views. It entered YouTube’s top 300, continuing the series’ momentum.
10. Lords of the Fallen II

Rounding out the list, Lords of the Fallen II pulled in 238,000 searches and nearly 10 million TikTok views. While not as dominant across all channels, it secured its spot as one of Gamescom 2025’s most hyped titles.
