How to get free Doom: The Dark Ages Butcher skin

Doom: The Dark Ages has brought back all the classic close combat battles many have come to expect from Doom Guy. Though, thanks to a free Bethesda bundle, you can look awesome doing it with the Butcher skin.

Sure, looking great isn’t exactly the main part of a game such as Doom: The Dark Ages. After all, you’ll need to focus on destroying the legions from hell in the most brutal fashion possible. That being said, there’s nothing wrong with looking cool while doing so, especially when it’s free.

Luckily, Bethesda knows this and has released a free bundle filled with cosmetics for various games, from Fallout 76 to Doom: Eternal, and of course, Doom: The Dark Ages. So, if you want a new look, here’s how to get the Butcher skin in Doom: The Dark Ages.

How to get Butcher Skin in Doom: The Dark Ages

As previously mentioned, the Butcher Skin is part of the Bethesda Free Bundle, so you’ll need to unlock that to get the skin. To do so, follow the steps below:

1. Head to the free bundle website.
2. Log in to your Bethesda account or make a new account.
3. Go to the Marketing Preferences page and opt into email communications.
4. Click the Claim Now button located at the top of the page.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to open up Doom: The Dark Ages and complete the following steps:

1. Go to the main menu.
2. Click Extras.
3. Choose Slayer, Archvile, or Marauder.
4. Change into the Butcher Doom Slayer Skin.

When does the free bundle end?

For those looking to grab the free skins, it’s important to know that the offer will expire on June 27, 2025 at 10 AM ET, which is 7 AM PT or 3PM BST.
