How to get Wild Anima in RuneScape Dragonwilds

RuneScape Dragonwilds has plenty of vital items you need to unlock early on in the adventure, and Wild Anima is no different, though it’s by no means an easy resource to find.

Whether you’re looking to get yourself prepared by gathering all the best resources or are on the cusp of upgrading your materials and skills in RuneScape Dragonwilds, you’ll likely need to get hold of Wild Anima. This resource is pivotal as you progress from early-game to mid-game content and will quickly encompass most of your crafting recipes.

However, it’s not easy to find, and is only located in a very specific location. So, if you’re struggling to find Wild Anima, here’s exactly where to get it and what it’s used for. Just be warned, you may need to bring a weapon.

Technically, Wild Anima is a crafted material made using Anima-infused bark, which is found under the large purple and blue trees in the Fractured Plains.

To find the Fractured Plains, you’ll need to be ready for level three difficulty. Then, head just north of the Whispering Swamp, which is found northeast of the starting region.

Once you’ve found it, collect four and head over to your Kiln (Made using 8 Ash Logs, 20 Stone, 6 Clay, and 10 Fire Runes) and smelt them for Wild Anima. You’ll also need a Kiln to get Adhesive and increase your armor.

What uses does it have?

As you progress through Dragonwilds, Anima will become one of the most important resources you can find, because it’s used for gathering spectral tools, rune protection, navigating the ore veins, upgrading your weapons, and eventually, pretty much anything you need in your adventure. That’s outside of casting spells, though, which is done through runes.

So, when you do discover Anima-infused bark, be sure to pick up as many as you can to ensure you always have more than you need for your recipes.
