The July 31 Nintendo Partner Showcase delivered nonstop reveals, but not everyone has time to watch the full thing.

Monster Hunter Stories 3 kicked things off with a surprise announcement, and from there it only got busier. Capcom, Square Enix, EA, Bandai Namco, and more showed off new games, ports, and release dates for both Switch and Switch 2.

Monster Hunter Stories 3

Monster Hunter Stories 3 finally showed up in the July 31 Partner Showcase, opening the Direct with a surprise reveal.

Before this, fans only had rumors and wishful thinking after Wings of Ruin wrapped things up in 2021. Now we know it’s real and coming to Switch 2 in 2026. Capcom teased a more cinematic style and a new story arc, but no gameplay was shown.

Once Upon a Katamari

Once Upon a Katamari finally rolled into view during the July 31 Partner Showcase, confirming what fans had only guessed from a trademark earlier this year.

It’s a brand-new entry in the series, not a remake, and it looks just as delightfully weird as ever. Bandai Namco didn’t show gameplay, but the whimsical tone came through loud and clear.

It’s launching on October 24, 2025, for both Switch and Switch 2, with preorders already live.

Just Dance 2026 Edition

Just Dance 2026 Edition got its big spotlight after a quiet reveal earlier in Japan that left fans guessing.

Before the Direct, only leaks and speculation hinted at its existence. Now it’s official: the seventeenth entry in the long-running series is coming to Switch, Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero port

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was officially confirmed for both Switch and Switch 2. Fans had hoped the arena fighter would make the jump after launching on other platforms earlier this year, and now it’s locked in.

The Switch version will support motion controls, keeping that classic Budokai Tenkaichi energy alive. Best of all, it’s set to launch on November 14, 2025, with preorders live right now.

Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted

Before the Direct, we only had leaks and rating rumors hinting at a remaster for everyone’s favorite unlikely showdown: Plants vs. Zombies.

EA and PopCap officially unveiled Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, confirming it’s arriving on both Switch and Switch 2. The release date was locked in for October 23, 2025.

EA Sports’ FC26 port

EA officially confirmed that EA Sports FC 26 is landing on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, marking the series’ full rendition on Nintendo hardware in 2025. We got a locked-in release date: September 26, 2025, with pre-orders available now.

Pac-Man World Re‑Pac 2

Bandai Namco announced Pac-Man World Re-Pac 2 during the Partner Showcase. They showed off gameplay with updated visuals, reimagined levels, and classic 3D platforming action.

It’s a full remake of Pac-Man World 2, and it’s coming to both Switch and Switch 2. The game launches on September 26, 2025.

Final Fantasy Tactics The Ivalice Chronicles

Square Enix officially revealed Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles at Sony’s State of Play in early June. We knew it’d be a full remake with enhanced visuals, fully voiced dialogue, quality‑of‑life improvements, and a classic mode faithful to the original.

Then, at the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, fans got confirmation that it’s launching on both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on September 30, 2025, with the free Switch 2 upgrade sweetening the deal.

Persona 3 Reload port

Atlus hadn’t announced any Nintendo version of Persona 3 Reload; it was only on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

Then, on July 31, the Partner Showcase confirmed that Persona 3 Reload is coming to Switch 2, and gameplay briefly appeared in the stream. It’s launching on October 23, 2025, for the new Nintendo system.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment

Zelda fans expecting a new adventure got a different treat. Bandai Namco and Koei Tecmo showed off more Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment.

Before this, we only had the initial announcement back in April. But now, gameplay was shown, spotlighting massive battlefield action set in the world of Tears of the Kingdom. It’s slotted for a winter 2025 release window.

Madden NFL 26

EA officially confirmed that Madden NFL 26 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2. Before the Direct, all we had were general rumors that the franchise would eventually jump over.

At the July 31 showcase, EA showed a gameplay clip highlighting smooth frame rates and Switch 2 motion control support. It also locked in the release date: August 14, 2025.

Chillin’ By the Fire

Chilling By the Fire shadow-dropped during the Nintendo Partner Showcase. It’s a cozy exploration game where you relax by a digital fireplace, make tea, and take in the scenery. Think slow living with pixels. It’s available right now on Switch and Switch 2.

Apex Legends port

EA officially confirmed Apex Legends is coming to Switch 2.

The battle royale’s debut on Nintendo hardware after years on other platforms. It’ll be available starting August 5, and this time around, you can use your Joy-Con as a mouse.

Hela

We knew from Future Games Show and GDC that Hela is an indie co‑op adventure featuring a brave mouse with a magical frog backpack exploring a Scandinavian-inspired world, solving puzzles, and brewing potions to help a sick witch.

At the July 31 Partner Showcase, Nintendo confirmed it’s coming to Switch 2 in 2026, locking in its platform and year but without a specific release date yet.

Star Wars Outlaws port

During the Partner Showcase on July 31, Ubisoft officially confirmed Star Wars Outlaws will be released on Switch 2. The gameplay trailer showed the game running on Nintendo’s console, and it’s locked in for a September 4, 2025, release date.

Chronos: The New Dawn

Chronos: The New Dawn was known as Bloober Team’s next big survival horror title, set in a twisted 1980s Poland where players use time rifts to save survivors. It had already been announced for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, but a Nintendo version wasn’t on the list.

That changed during the July 31 Partner Showcase, where it was officially confirmed for Switch 2. The game is now set to launch on September 5, 2025, bringing its eerie time-bending action to Nintendo’s portale console.

Yakuza Kiwami 2

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a beloved remake that originally launched on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but until now, a Nintendo version was just wishful thinking. During the July 31 Partner Showcase, Sega finally confirmed it’s coming to Switch 2 on November 13, 2025.

The Adventures of Elliot

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tale for Switch 2 is a brand‑new action RPG with classic visuals and a fresh story. The game is now confirmed to launch sometime in 2026, with more details likely coming soon.

Octopath Traveler 0

Octopath Traveler 0 is a brand‑new HD‑2D prequel that received a new trailer and glimpses of gameplay during the Nintendo Direct. It’s coming to both Switch and Switch 2, and the release date is locked in for December 4, 2025.
