A new Nintendo Direct presentation has players up in arms as the showcase will focus only on Xenoblade Chronicles 3, rather than a wide range of upcoming games.
Nintendo Direct presentations are a celebrated time among players. Each showcase typically gives us a glimpse into Nintendo’s dazzling roster of titles, but players are now lambasting the coveted company.
A new presentation is scheduled for June 22 but will only feature Xenoblade Chronicles 3, leaving many players frustrated about the lack of variety.

Nintendo face backlash over Xenoblade Chronicles 3 direct presentation
The legendary company announced on social media that the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 direct would feature “roughly 20 minutes of information about the upcoming RPG adventure for Nintendo Switch.”
While players of the long-running RPG franchise are keen to explore the future of the game, many were hoping to see highly anticipated titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild 2.
Breath of The Wild 2 has been in development since 2017 and was delayed to the first half of 2023.

Some players predicted that Nintendo would avoid showing the game and have sparked debate with other players. On June 19 @Rudra_LC_ said: “no offence but we’re probably more likely to get a Xenoblade 3 Direct than a Zelda one atm.”
Players such as @awesomelink234 were eager to see an array of games: “What about people like me who aren’t big fans of Xenoblade? Are we going to be starved of information until September?”
Another commenter shared their perspective, adding: “Before I get slack I am excited for Xenoblade 3… but with the rest of the year still slightly vague on release dates I can’t help but find this disappointing.”
