According to NintendoSoup, a video circulating on Chinese social media shows what appears to be the new Nintendo console running quality control software.

Instead of the normal UI, it shows options like charge battery, launch aging test, reboot, and shutdown. You can also see the user attach and detach the Joy-Con 2’s from the console.

It’s unclear where the video is being taken, however, and it’s entirely possible that the unit was taken from the factory with permission. However, it’s unlikely that the user was allowed to upload a video showing off the firmware installed on the Switch 2.

Outside of the design, the exact details of the Nintendo Switch 2 have yet to be revealed by the Japanese company. We know that it features a 1080p 120hz screen with 256gb of storage, but things like the amount of ram and what CPU it uses have yet to be revealed.

Nvidia has, however, revealed that the Switch 2 will use its DLSS and Ray Tracing features for high-quality visuals and performance, as well as G-Sync for the variable refresh rate screen.
