DexertoGenshin Impact fans got a glimpse of Ifa, and let’s just say, the details were enlightening.
Ifa, the upcoming character from Natlan, is a 4-star male Saurian veterinarian who specializes in flying reptiles. Fans first heard of him through his mention in Archon Quest Chapter 5: Act 4, where a mural depicted him with white hair, tanned skin, and a hat.
While there was no official confirmation about his abilities or even his element, the anticipation around his arrival in Version 5.5 was high. His deep connection to the creatures of Natlan, along with his mysterious friendship with Ororon, raised plenty of questions about his class and element.
The first concrete clue came when players noticed Ifa’s back during the Genshin Impact 5.5 livestream, but only in the Japanese version.

The faint glow of his Vision was caught on camera, giving fans a clear view of what they had been speculating – an Anemo Vision.
Ifa is most likely an Anemo character. His ability to fly, hinted at in Kachina’s voice lines, now made perfect sense. Flying saurians and someone who can literally take to the skies – Anemo was the only logical choice.
Of course, the community exploded with reactions. “There was a better shot of his back on JP stream, he has an Anemo vision,” one player posted.
“Ah, another Anemo, huh? It looks like the Flower Feather Clan’s Qucusaur represents an Anemo Saurian despite its red color. Well, that makes sense since its specialty is flying in the sky.”
Others were quick to point out, “IFA IS THE FIRST ANEMO TALL MAN,” while another user optimistically added, “Please be a support healer/buffer.”
