GTA Online weekly update September 18 patch notes: Oktoberfest bonuses, free money & weapons, more

As regular GTA Online players will know, Rockstar provides a new update each week, adding or switching around content. This usually includes login bonuses, boosted rewards for specific missions, featured races, and a whole lot more.
The past 12 months have been a big one for Rockstar Games and Grand Theft Auto with tons of drama and news involving GTA 6. The long-awaited sequel was revealed at the end of 2023, but has since been delayed until May 26, 2026.
While Rockstar have shown off some parts of the single-player experience in GTA 6, we’re still waiting on more info for the GTA Online follow-up, but until that time, let’s see what’s been added in the most recent update on September 18, 2025. These are the full patch notes.
GTA Online weekly update patch notes (September 18)
New GTA Online content added
The last few weeks of GTA Online updates have been chock-full of new content, including the Agents of Sabotage update with new vehicles and the Garment Factory.
The arrival of Money Fronts, a new update which allows you to buy the Hands On Car Wash, Higgins Helitours, and Smoke on the Water for money-laundering operations is here. The latter two also give you boosts towards your Weed Farm and Air Freight Cargo.
This week, there are early celebrations for Oktoberfest, and the Neighbourhood watch event draws to a close. More on the rewards for both of those later.
Prize Ride Challenge Vehicle
This week’s GTA Online Prize Ride car to acquire is the Obey Tailgater S. You’ll need to win in the LS Car Meet Series for three consecutive days to get your hands on it.

Lucky Wheel podium reward vehicle: Albany V-STR
You can pick up the Albany V-STR this week, as it is featured on the Diamond Casino Lucky Wheel as the reward. You could get it for free if your luck is in – or you know how to win every time.
Rockstar GamesWhich GTA Online missions have the highest payout?
As of September 18, 2025, the GTA Online mission with the highest payout is still the Cayo Perico Heist. However, it’s not as lucrative as it once was – much to the annoyance of players.

There are a few 4-2x GTA$ and RP opportunities this week. Sadly, there are no bonuses for Taxi Work but, hopefully, the lucrative 5x bonus will return soon.

- The Duggan Robbery: Dinka Kanjo SJ
Salvage Yard Robberies can lead to some nice cars in your garage.
