Space Groove took the League of Legends scene by storm before it even dropped.
To celebrate the arrival of the flashy new skins, Riot is putting on an event in League of Legends patch 11.7. Here’s what you need to know.
League of Legends Space Groove skins
Nine skins in the all-new Space Groove skin line, including a Prestige one for Lulu, and another for the upcoming champion Gwen, will be dropping during the event.
Riot has revealed seven new "Space Groove" skins for #LeagueofLegends:

The skin line doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s all about having a good time with the 70s Disco vibes. Blitzcrank has been split in two — controlled by two cats aptly named Blitz & Crank. Nasus and Rumble are now also cats controlling robots shaped like their respective champions.
Lux, Samira, Nunu, and Lulu are also getting skins, but as their more humanoid selves. The latter, Lulu, is also receiving her first prestige skin in the collection. All the skins though feature plenty of bright and groovy colors, with lots of orange and purple to hail home the right vibe.
Gwen, the latest champion set to launch in-game on patch 11.8, will also be releasing with her own Space Groove skin. This will no doubt be available on her release in the update coming in mid-April.
All the skins will be available in the in-game shop for either 1350 RP or 1820 RP. This excludes the Prestige Lulu skin, which will be rolled into the event shop.

Like all previous League of Legends events, if you want to get the most out of it, you’ll need to fork out for the event pass.

For 1650 RP, you get access to 4 Space Groove Orbs, 200 Space Groove Tokens, as well as unique rewards depending on if you choose the side of the Groove or Harsh Vibes.
Plus, there’s also Milestone rewards on offer. The more you play, the more rewards you get, including Prestige Points, Orbs, Gemstones, Hextech Chests and Keys, and more.

Sick of only having one linear quest line for League events? Space Groove marks the return of Versus events where you have to pick a side. This time, you’ll have to choose between the Groove or the Harsh Vibes.

When does the Space Groove event end?
The League of Legends Space Groove event launched on April 1, 2021, along with the skin line. The event will wrap up in a month’s time on May 3, 2021.
