Legend of Zelda Lego set leak reveals beloved character & release date

Princess Zelda in Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity

A brand new Lego set is on its way, this time bringing a little more Legend of Zelda to fans’ collections, and it’s set to be based on the epic villain.

Lego and video games almost go hand in hand by now. We’ve had vintage consoles (sorry to make you feel old), Mario, Minecraft, Sonic, Animal Crossing, and, of course, The Legend of Zelda. Previously, the Great Deku Tree was released as a set for Zelda to huge fanfare, despite costing around $250.

Well, fans of Zelda are going to need to save a little bit more money, as a brand new set has been leaked, this time focusing on a villain, and its release date is pretty soon.

Ganondorf Lego set leaked

In a series of leaks on Reddit, a brand new set for The Legend of Zelda has been revealed: An Ocarina of Time Ganondorf Diorama.

Currently, we don’t know exactly what this will look like in brick form or how much the set will cost (though it’s expected to be cheaper than the Great Deku Tree given the smaller brick count); however, we do know it’ll be 1003 pieces (Great Deku Tree set was 2500) and will be released on March 1, 2026. Although the date seems far away, it’s actually only six months away.

Naturally, given this is purely a leak, the set is subject to change. It could be bigger, smaller, or come out on a different day, especially given that The Legend of Zelda’s 40th anniversary is in February. Nevertheless, this is the first time Ganon has been immortalized in Lego form, and who knows, maybe we’ll get a Ganon mini figure along with the new leaked set.
