Skins for Overwatch 2’s Gundam Wing collab have leaked and fans are baffled after two heroes were excluded from the lineup.
On April 29, Overwatch 2 is set to join forces with Gundam Wing for the hero shooter’s latest colloboration following successful collabs with One Punch Man, Cowboy Bebop, Transformers, and more.
The teaser for the collab confirmed that Mercy would be one of the heroes getting a skin, but players were quick to debate which others would be included with Pharah, Echo and Bastion being among the favorites.
Well, on April 22, just as Season 16 went live, four of the skins leaked and there were some surprising exclusions, as well as inclusions, for the four characters getting the Gundam treatment.

In a post on X, leaker ‘wiki_ow’ claimed that only four heroes would be getting collab skins and listed them out.
Aside from Mercy, Ramattra, Soldier 76 and Reaper are set to get skins based on the Mobile Suit series.
For players expecting more flying heroes like Pharah and Echo, this list caught them off guard.
“Mercy sneaking her way in over Echo or Pharah is criminal behavior,” one wrote.
“Missed opportunity to include all flying heroes. Echo, Pharah and D.va,” another commented.
“Echo getting sideswiped again, she had two perfect opportunities to get a collab skin for Transformers and now Gundam, but somehow Mercy gets one?” remarked another confused player.
Meanwhile, fans of the Null Sector tank were pleased to see Ramattra getting the collab treatment.
Of course, until Blizzard announces the skins themselves, take this with a grain of salt, but it’s easy to see why some fans were expecting Pharah to be included given that even one of her OW1 launch skins, Mechaqueen, appeared to be heavily Gundam inspired.
