Overwatch fans are excited about the second LE SSERAFIM collab, but some players can’t tell who is who in the new revealed skins.
Overwatch’s second collab with K-Pop group LE SSERAFIM is set to release on March 18, and will allow players to buy new themed skins for the characters D.Va, Ashe, Illari, Juno, and Mercy. Collab skins are always some of the most hyped up in the game, and the LE SSERAFIM collab is no different.
However, after the five skins were revealed in promo art, many fans are stating that they can’t even tell which character is who. Some fans have even gone as far as redesigning the skins slightly to better resemble the intended character.
Overwatch 2’s next LE SSERAFIM skins are hard to tell apart
While the skins are all visually distinctive from one another and well designed, fans were criticizing the skins as they aren’t able to distinguish who is who from the art alone.
“I can’t even tell who’s who in this, am I crazy?” asked one fan on X.
“I suppose it will be easier to tell in-game,” wrote another player on Reddit. “But in the artwork, everyone except Juno is unrecognizable.”
Fans criticized how many of the designs did not resemble the hero enough and were not true to the personality and art of the original hero.
“The fact that even after reading the names, the only people I’m able to recognize are Juno and Illari,” wrote someone else. “I mean seriously, who is who in this picture???”

One fan even redesigned the skins to make them more recognizable, such as recoloring Juno and Ashe’s hair to resemble their original colors.
In-game designs for the collab have not been revealed yet, and it’ll almost certainly be easier to tell about which character is who there. However, the concept art hasn’t done much to inspire confidence in this second set of LE SSERAFIM skins, and some even feel like these skins are a departure from Overwatch’s usual style.
“The skins from [the] last event were pretty recognizable, but these really aren’t besides maybe Juno,” said another. “I do like that they’re trying to get more experimental with the skins, but this feels a little too much.”
Regardless, if you’re a fan of these skins or warm up to them as they’re revealed in-game, you can expect them to drop on March 18 when the collab event starts. You’ll also be able to pick up recolors of older skins as well if you missed them the first time around.
