Pokemon Go Terrakion: Best moveset for PvP and Raids

Terrakion is returning to Pokemon Go along with the rest of the Swords of Justice, so if you want to add this Rock/Fighting Legendary to your team, here are the best movesets you can teach it.

Terrakion is an original member of the Swords of Justice, as well as Cobalion and Virizion. These Legendary Pokemon were introduced in Gen 5 as part of the Unova Pokedex and made their debut in Niantic’s mobile game back in 2019.

Now that Pokemon Go is rolling out the final Raids of the month in order to prepare for the next season, Terrakion is once again available in the game thanks to the Road to Unova event, and here are the best moves it can use in PvP and Raids.

Best moveset for PvP

Terrakion’s best moveset for PvP in Pokemon Go consists of Double Kick as the Fast Move and Rock Slide as the Charged Move.

Double Kick is overall Terrakion’s best Fast Move. It offers fast energy generation, which grants players early access to its Charged Moves. Plus, it benefits from STAB.

Due to the Pokemon using a Fighting Fast Move, it’s smarter to go for its other typing on the Charged Move, so pick Rock Slide. It has an incredible DPE, benefits from STAB too, and works nicely with Double Kick.

If you want to add a secondary Charged Move, then go for Sacred Sword. It is Terrakion’s signature move and quite an excellent one because it’s a powerful move that doesn’t require too much energy.

Best moveset for Raids

The best moveset players can pick for this bulky creature is Double Kick as the Fast Move and Sacred Sword as the Charged Move, for a DPS of 18.73 and a total damage output of 356.9.

For Raids it’s smarter to go for only one of the two types Terrakion wields, and taking into consideration its move pool, is better to go with Fighting.

As Double Kick is its only Fighting Fast Move, the choice is clear – and it’s a great one! For the Charged Move, Close Combat is a magnificent nuke, but it’s too expensive and Terrakion might faint before it even gets the chance to use it. So, go with Sacred Sword, a solid and strong option.
