The Forces of Nature Legendaries are incredibly powerful, but with two different forms available for each, there’s a lot to consider when deciding which ones to power up and what moves they should learn.
When it comes to Landorus Therian Forme, there’s a clear best moveset that helps it rise to the top and become a standout in both Ultra or Master League meta, as well as a dual Ground/Flying-type attacker for Raid Battles.

Best moveset for PvP
One of the best movesets Landorus Therian Forme can learn in Pokemon Go for PvP is Mud Shot as a Fast Move and Sandsear Storm as a Charged Move.
There are only two potential Fast Move options here, but with Mud Shot benefitting from STAB and having incredibly high energy generation, there’s really no reason to opt for Extrasensory.
As for the Charged Moves, Landorus’ signature move – Sandsear Storm – is the ultimate best. Not only does it benefit from STAB and is really cheap, but it also has a debuff that decreases the target’s Attack by 20% and pairs nicely with Mud Shot.
Earthquake is also an incredibly powerful move that would help Landorus destroy any opponent. However, its high cost makes it hard for the Legendary to survive until it can be used, as Landorus is not that bulky.

If you can afford a secondary Charged Move, though, go with Stone Edge for extra coverage options. Superpower used to be the ideal choice, but its self-debuff can play against you.

Landorus Therian Forme’s best moveset for Raids also has Mud Shot as the Fast Move and Sandsear Storm as the Charged Move, with a DPS of 18.16 and a total damage output of 318.4.
This Legendary is one of the best Ground-type attackers in the whole game, and as such it should focus on its Ground moves. Plus, similar to Thundurus, it does not have Flying alternatives.
Because Mud Shot is the only Ground Fast Move option, go with it. It will benefit from STAB and works nicely with the Charged Move.
As for the Charged Move, Sandsear Storm is the best option as mentioned in PvP. However, if you don’t have access to it – as it is a Legacy Move – you can switch it to Earthquake, though the fight will be a bit harder.
