Lego and Pokemon’s largest ever set design leaks & it’s extremely nostalgic

Lego Pokemon set

After years of waiting, the Lego x Pokemon collaboration is finally upon us, and after a huge set was leaked, we finally know exactly what it’ll contain.

Lego is no stranger to a good collaboration, whether it’s the upcoming set for Legend of Zelda, various vintage consoles, Mario, Sonic, Star Wars, or even Fortnite in the form of a brand new game. However, there’s one well-known collab fans have been waiting years for, Pokemon.

Luckily, it’s finally on its way, and after being announced, various leaks began appearing, showcasing that one of the sets will be the seventh largest in Lego history, with a rather impressive $650 price tag. Well, thanks to a leak, we finally know what that set will contain.

The largest Pokemon set revealed as starters in leak

As revealed in a leak on Reddit, the largest Lego x Pokemon set, which boasts a whopping 6,830 pieces, will contain Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander.

Naturally, these are the original three starter Pokemon you get to choose from at the beginning of the first few games, so they’re synonymous with the video games.

Outside of the fact that the set will contain Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander, we don’t have any details as to what form this will take. Whether they’re three medium-sized individual structures merged into one or part of a larger landscape that features three different themed locations surrounding each Pokemon is yet to be seen.

All we know is that it’s set to be the seventh biggest set in Lego history at 6,838 pieces, will cost $650, and will release to Lego Insiders on February 27, 2026.

Outside of this, we know there will be 20 retail Pokemon sets to release in 2026, which will be split into three waves. The first will be in late February, which will be the set above, and the last two will be in the summer.

The first wave will be more aimed at adults, and the second will feature Smart Brick, similar to the Mario set, allowing the Pokemon to battle.

It’s likely we’ll hear more about the largest set soon, but we now know who it’ll focus on.
