Pokemon Go: April 2020 field research tasks and rewards – Full list

The Pokemon Go field research tasks and rewards have been changed up for April 2020. Here is the full list.

Unless you’re new to Pokemon Go, you’ll be familiar with the concept of field research tasks and their rewards. They are an excellent chance to focus on one particular Pokemon.

Doing so can get you a strong version of them in no time at all. That’s assuming you can find a PokeStop with that particular task. Once you do you can revisit it (during that day only) to keep getting the same one.

You can also earn one stamp a day for every field research task you complete. Upon getting seven of these, you can trade it in for the April 2020 Research Breakthrough encounter reward.

Interestingly there are fewer field research tasks than previous months. Eagle-eyed trainers will notice that some of the removed ones are more tricky.

Presumably this a result of the current global health crisis whereby Niantic don’t want to encourage trainers to go outside. There have already been widespread changes made to Pokemon Go amid the crisis and Niantic have revealed they have more in mind.
