Kingambit’s long-awaited debut will finally take place during Pokemon Go‘s Crown Clash event, featuring Nidoking, Nidoqueen, and plenty of surprises. Don’t miss out on how to get the Big Blade Pokemon!
The Paldean Pokedex is still reduced in Niantic’s mobile game, with less than half of them currently available. However, one more is joining the ranks, as Kingambit will finally be introduced during an event focused on the Big Blade Pokemon.
Its pre-stages from the Unova region, Pawniard and Bisharp, have been part of Pokemon Go since 2020, so its arrival was imminent. What wasn’t expected was an entire event focused on the Dark/Steel-type samurai, so here are all the details.
Crown Clash event: Date & time
The Pokemon Go Crown Clash event will run from Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM until Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 8:00 PM local time.
This means players will have around eight days to gather enough Candy to evolve Pawniard into Bisharp and finally into its final stage.

Keep in mind that evolving Pawniard into Bisharp will require 50 Candy. Then, to get Kingambit, you must gather another 100 Candy and defeat 15 Dark or Steel-type Pokemon in Raid battles while having Bisharp as your Buddy.
