DEXERTOThe Max Monday Raid for Pokemon Go features some fresh faces in the schedule for September 2025, including the Egg Pokemon from the Kanto region, Chansey.
The Pokemon Go Tales of Transformation season is full-on, and those who want to add to their super-sized lineup for these events can join in on special Raid Battles against Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokemon using Max Particles.
Just like during Pokemon Go’s Spotlight Hour, Max Mondays feature one specific Dynamax or Gigantamax Raid for one hour on Monday evenings. Unlike Pokemon Go Community Days, there will be no Research Tickets or other bonuses during this hour of gameplay.

When is the next Max Monday? Date and Time
DEXERTOThe next Max Monday – featuring Dynamax Chansey – takes place on September 22, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time. Just like with Abra, which was previously featured, you will be able to encounter a Shiny variant of this Pokemon during its time as a Max Raid boss.

How to prepare for the Chansey Max Monday
To prepare for the next Max Monday event, you’ll want to ensure you cover a few steps before the event. Here’s how to make the most of the 60-minute time window.
- Make sure to gather up plenty of Max Particles. These are needed to enter the Max Raid battles.
- Plan to create a team of friends to help with these battles. Max Raids are still new, and they can be tricky without a big enough team.
- Be sure to level up your Dynamax and Gigantamax-capable Pokemon ahead of Max Mondays. Only Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokemon can join these battles.
Additionally, it’s always a good idea to have items like Star Pieces or Lucky Eggs on hand to make the most out of the XP and Stardust earned when participating in Raids.
