NIANTICMore creatures are arriving in Pokemon Go! This time, Gen 8’s Gossifleur and its evolution Eldegoss will debut during the Sping into Spring event, and here are all the details you must know.
The Spring into Spring event is one of the many Pokemon Go celebrations that is repeated annually, as it focuses on Easter. It kicked off back in 2021 and has kept going on, debuting more creatures every time.
This year, the event will add Gen 8’s Gossifleur and its evolution, Eldegoss, to Niantic’s game. So, here’s everything you should know to prepare for these Galarian Pokemon debuts.
Spring into Spring event: Date & time
Pokemon Go’s Spring into Spring event will run from Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM until Monday, April 14, 2025, at 8:00 PM local time as part of the current Might and Mastery season.
While a short event, trainers should have enough time to get the newcomers Gossifleur and Eldegoss while hunting for the other featured creatures, including Shinies.
Event bonuses
These are the bonuses players will enjoy during the six days:
- x2 Lucky Egg duration.
- x2 Candy from hatching Eggs.
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Remoraid and Shiny Fletchling.
- 1/2 Egg hatch distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event.
Pokemon debuts
As mentioned above, both Galarian Grass-type Pokemon – Gossifleur and Eldegoss – will debut during the Spring into Spring event.
Players can catch Gossifleur in the wild or hatch it from Eggs to gather the 50 Candy required to evolve it into Eldegoss.
DEXERTOWild encounters
The following Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild during the whole event:

- Fletchling*
- Gossifleur
The rest of the wild encounters will happen during specific time windows.

Field Research task rewards
Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available, and players who manage to complete them will get useful rewards, including Great Balls, Pinap Berries, Stardust, and extra encounters with event-themed Pokemon.

The Paid Timed Research tickets can be purchased and gifted to other players. However, to do so, you must have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.
As every other Timed Research, this one also expires. The tasks should be completed – and the rewards must be claimed – before the event ends on April 14, 2025, at 8:00 PM local time.
DEXERTOCollection Challenges
During the celebration, event-themed Collection Challenges will be available for all trainers. Those who complete the hatch and catch-focused Collection Challenges will receive XP, Stardust, and encounters with event-themed Pokemon.
Spring into Spring Collection Challenge: Rainy Days
- Runs from April 9, 2025, until April 10, 2025.
- Players must catch Lotad, Marill, Ducklett, and Dewpider
- Rewards: Remoraid encounter, x2,500 Stardust, x5,000 XP
Spring into Spring Collection Challenge: Sunny Days
- Runs from April 11, 2025, until April 12, 2025.
- Players must catch Vulpix, Ponyta, Numel, and Litleo
- Rewards: Fletchling encounter, x2,500 Stardust, x5,000 XP
Spring into Spring Collection Challenge: Sprouting Days
- Runs from April 13, 2025, until April 14, 2025.
- Players must catch Oddish, Hoppip, Roselia, and Cherubi

As with most events, PokeStop Showcases will be taking place in different PokeStops, so search for them to enter event-themed competitions and earn extra rewards.
