What’s after the Scarlet & Violet era?

The English version of Black Bolt & White Flare was the final set of the Scarlet & Violet era. All expansions to follow will promote the Switch 2 game Pokemon Legends: Z-A, which arrives on October 16, 2025.
The first of these was revealed on June 22, 2025, during Japan’s Champions League tournament. Mega Brave & Mega Symphonia mark the return of Mega Evolution Pokemon, with Mega Lucario and Mega Gardevoir featuring on pack arts for their respective Japanese sets.
As usual, English players and collectors will get Brave & Symphonia combined into a single expansion called Mega Evolution when it arrives in the West in September. After that, your next stop is the Phantasmal Flames set (with cards from its Japanese counterpart, Inferno X) – highlighting Mega Charizard X as the show-stealer.
