Streamers ‘OverpoweredOW’ and ‘Sonii_IRL’ Win KEEMSTAR’s $100K Realm Royale Tournament – Recap, Highlights, and Final Placements

Streamers ‘OverpoweredOW’ and ‘Sonii_IRL’ have won the first ever KEEMSTAR Realm Royale Thursday tournament on July 19.

The pair secured the whopping $50,000 grand prize as they placed first overall in the competition’s standings.

The scoring of this Realm Royale Duos tournament is based on placement and kills across ten different matches. Teams receive positive points based on their placement and negative points based on each elimination.

The overall scores from each match are then calculated and added up, and the team with the lowest score after the ten matches wins.

Based on this scoring method, OverpoweredOW and Sonii put in a strong performance, placing first twice and second three times, with an overall kill count of 44.

Despite getting no kills or good placements in their last two matches, the pair still managed to get a score of 34, which was more than good enough to secure the championship.

Former CSGO pro ‘shroud’ and his teammate ‘Jotobo’ placed second and collected their $30,000 prize, thanks to an overall score of 49. Their strong placement came on the virtue of victories in matches one and five, in which they collected a total of 28 kills.

Coming in third was the streamer duo of Team SoloMid’s Gale Adelade and NRG’s ‘dafran,’ who got 50 points and won $20,000, still a lofty reward for a third place finish.

Created by YouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem and esports company Skillshot Media, the 100K Realm Royale Thursday tournament is set to be a weekly fixture. Here is an overview of the competition:
