Sentiment cheats affect the relationship between two Sims in the game, so you’ll need to enter each Sim’s full name before the cheat code itself.
For instance, using a cheat from the list below will look like this: modifyrelationship [Sim 1 full name] [Sim 2 full name] [X] sentimentTrack_Bitter_ST_GrudgeAgainstPackA, where X is the amount of relationship level. Make sure to not include the [ ] shown in the above example when entering the code.
Electronic ArtsHow to use cheats
Before using any of the above cheats (it’s the same with all cheats in The Sims 4, though, not just these ones), you’ll want to make sure that you’ve turned on ‘testing cheats’. This can be done by bringing up the cheat console, regardless of what platform you’re on, by pressing the follow buttons.
- PC/Mac: Press CTRL/CMD + Shift + C
- Console: Press all four shoulder buttons
After pressing the buttons required for your platform, a white box will then pop up in the top-left of your screen.

- In that box, type‘testingcheats on’ and press ‘Enter’, or the X or A button on console. A ‘Cheats are enabled’ message will show up in the window.
- You can now enter any code you like without fear of it not registering
- Not every code requires ‘testingcheats on’ to be enabled beforehand, but it’s worth doing first to minimize the chance of you using something that does need it.
