To celebrate the viral KPDH craze, a TikTok-famous baker decided to try her hand and recreate the movie’s main character, Rumi, completely out of cake.

TikTok baker makes life-sized Rumi out of cake under 1 week
Lara Cakes is a baker with over 4 million followers on TikTok, best known for making massive edible sculptures out of cake. She’s made some truly wild ones over the years, including Elsa from Disney’s Frozen and even a life-sized statue of Wolverine holding up Deadpool.
Boasting a floor-length purple braid and stylish stage attire, KPDH’s Rumi seems like one of the most challenging characters from the movie that Lara could recreate, but that didn’t put her off from her vision. In fact, she challenged herself to complete it in less than a week.
First, Lara created Rumi’s body out of vanilla sponge cake, using struts for support. She made Rumi’s patterns out of purple and pink layers, and created her skin using white chocolate modeling chocolate, while she modeled the clothes using white chocolate ganache.
“I didn’t realize how detailed her clothing actually was, and it came back to bite me in the butt when I began to decorate it at the very end,” Lara joked, remarking how many little elements are present on the character’s jacket.

“I am so ecstatic with how this one turned out,” she said. “I really think I nailed every single part of this.”
Viewers were in agreement, with one joking, “Oh, you ATE this.”
“I’ve never been jealous of a fake figure before!” another wrote. “This is insane!”
“My daughter’s reaction was, ‘I would like one,'” one parent said.
